Bio
Tony was born in Los Angeles, California. He was influenced by his family in the film industry to pursue a career in film. Wanting to be a cinematographer he attended the University of Southern California where he recieved his BFA in Lighting & Scenic Design to learn design and composition. He also minored in Classical Art & Text where he focused mostly on his childhood obsession of Ancient Roman Art and Plays.
After gradutating, he worked on the stop motion movie Holidaze, about Rudolph's brother Rusty who is trying to find his place in Christmas. There he met some influential directors and animators, and was asked by one of them to work a Family Guy clip she was producing. The clip included a remaking of Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. The episode: No Chris Left Behind aired May 6, 2007.
After much encouragement from his family and friends, Tony returned to academia has finished his MFA in Lighting & Scenic Design at UC Davis under the mentorship of Thomas J. Munn in 2009.
Since then, he has worked for the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, Los Angeles Opera, REDCAT, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Holland America Cruise Lines, toured through Europe & the United States. He is very excited to continue working in both theatre & film wherever work may take him, looking forward to each new experience.
